The Mississippi Southern Hemp Coalition has helped defeat efforts to shut down the state’s hemp industry for the past two years. For 2026, we’re working with legislators on a new regulatory bill to remove bad actors, prevent marketing to children, and create a strong foundation for the industry’s future growth.

The Mississippi Southern Hemp Coalition is helping educate lawmakers in our State about the benefits of Hemp, as well as providing Good Business Practices to hemp retailers, and providing education to consumers on the benefits of Hemp, and what to look for when considering purchasing a hemp-based products.

The Mississippi Southern Hemp Coalition is continuously building a network of positive relationships with Federal & State legislators, the Department of Agriculture, and national manufacturers & wholesalers with good business practices in order to help push this industry forward into the future.
